The dress, the suits, the décor, the venue, the guest list, the cake, the reception… Planning a wedding can be a daunting task. That’s why we want to make the planning of the ceremony as streamlined as possible. Whether you are having a large, formal event or a small, intimate gathering, following these simple steps will help to ensure your peace of mind as we create your unique ceremony.
Get Your Marriage License
Many couples choose to do this closer to the wedding date, which is fine. Just make sure you have it at the ceremony! You can obtain your marriage license from any county clerk’s office. Please let us know if you need assistance in completing this step.
Check For Availability
Make sure we have a minister available on the day of your ceremony! Please use the contact option to send us the specifics. Include in the comments the date, time, and location of the ceremony. It would also be helpful to know the size of the wedding party and the number of attendees.
Meet Your Minister
If you like the quote we give you, we’ll schedule a time to meet! It’s very important that your minister meet with you, the couple, to get a better understanding of personalities, religious preferences (if applicable), and the sentiments you wish to convey on your special day. Your deposit will be due at this time.
Creating Your Personalized Ceremony
We will then create your personalized program. We may contact you with additional questions about your preferences to ensure that we meet and/or exceed your expectations.
Review Your Draft
You will receive a draft of the ceremony program no less than a week before your event. You can review and make any necessary changes, returning it to your minister at least 48 hours before the ceremony (or rehearsal, if applicable) is to take place.
Rehearsal (Optional, With Additional Cost)
Want to be sure that we’ve got it exactly right? Most couples prefer to have a rehearsal the day before the wedding. This helps to ensure that the wedding party knows what to do, especially if you have a young ring bearer or flower girl who could benefit from a dry run.
Your Wedding Day
Finally, the magic happens. We will deliver a beautifully crafted service, meeting all of your dreams and expectations, and we will leave you with memories to cherish for a lifetime.
